Pam Dunne, PhD, RDT/BCT, Professor of Theatre Arts and Dance,
California State University, Los Angeles, graduated with a BA in
Film from University of California, Los Angeles, MA in Theatre from
The University of Washington and PhD from Florida State University
in Theatre, and PhD from Cambridge Graduate School of
Psychology in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Dunne enjoys and fields
of film, theatre, writing and dance. At California State University,
Los Angeles, Dr. Dunne teaches two very popular film/theatre
classes: Emotion in Theatre and Film and Staging Violence in
World Theatre. In addition Dr. Dunne has developed courses in
her two specialties: Child Drama (creative drama and children’s
theatre) and Drama Therapy. Dr. Dunne is author of 8 books
including most recently, Double Stick Tape: Drama, Poetry
and Narrative as Therapy for Adolescents. She is currently
working on a chapter for new book entitled Action Methods
in Psychotherapy.
